He grew up savoring the traditional Italian cooking of his mother and grandmother, and it wasn't long before he found himself training under James Beard Award-winning chefs and helming his own kitchens throughout Connecticut, New York, and Atlanta, Georgia.

If you are flying out of Atlanta International Airport Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL), we recommend flying into Milan Malpensa (MXP) airport, as direct flights options are available. Should your arrival pre-date October 20, alternative accommodations may be necessary to facilitate your meetup with our journey.
Experience Piemonte will have no more than 16 guests, plus our native Italian host Daniele De Benedictis, and our guest of honor, Chef Pat Pascarella. Our experiences are fun and inclusive and you can expect to be joined by a diverse group in terms of age, background and interests—including solo travelers, couples and friends traveling together. All experiences are for travelers age 21 and above.

We’ll be joined throughout our journey by winemakers, chefs, artisans and professional guides who are deeply knowledgeable in regard to local cultures, customs and history and are passionate about sharing that with us.
US citizens are not required to have a visa to enter Italy for stays up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for three months beyond your planned departure date, though we recommend that your passport be valid for six calendar months beyond your planned departure date from Italy. Not a US citizen? Please check with the Italian Embassy or Consulate for information and requirements.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement for your trip costs; if your trip plans change for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to get medical help, emergency transport, and for theft, loss or damage of items while traveling.
